Free Italian natural Spa Part.1

Ok,
Someone will hate me for this post ... First part of free natural spa.
Italy is rich in thermal springs, some little known to the rest of you. :)

My favorite, and those that know best:

Bagni di Petriolo. Here on maps

These spas are located between siena and grosseto. In the center of Tuscany

They are located between siena and grosseto. VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Car or bike, but there are really difficult climbs, but nice downhill.

Tips and tricks:
1. bathroom at night, or in the winter season. must-do.
2. The place is always busy.
2. You can not camp, but you can ... You can not light fires, but you can .... Beware ..
3. If you are not so wild, continuing on the road you can find a B & B
4. Keep clean and respects everyone and everything.
5. Dogs are generally quite accepted, but keep an eye on.

The images speak for themselves ..
Water at 43 degree..

Festivals Part 1

The first topic I want to deal with are the events.
England have a long and rich tradition of festivals, but also in Italy, there are opportunities to attend festivals with a capital F.
In the coming posts I will propose a very careful selection of the best Italian events.

Let us start with the most imminent:

"Artisti in Piazza 2016"

Artisti in Piazza 2016

WHAT:   International Buskers Festival (Music, circus, theatre, street arts)
WHEN:   01/05 June 2016. Here the program.
WHERE:  Pennabilli (Emilia Romagna) Maps.
PRICES: € 8 Wendsday. € 12 other days. Free entry under 14
Official website here.

Pennabilli is a small medieval village on the border between Emilia Romagna and Marche, here each year hundred artists from around the world come together to create a five days-long party ...
Bring your tent, sleeping bag and raincoat. In June there looks like England summer...

Some pics..

5+1 THING TO DO, AFTER OR BEFORE THE FESTIVAL.

The festival is not the only thing you can do ....

1-  Get lost in the hills ...

2-  SAN MARINO, a small independent state with a beautiful castle, definitely worth visiting.

3-  RIMINI: The one that for years has been considered one of the world capitals of fun, You can still get fun don't worry. :)

4-  CESENA: Cesena is a small town, with a beautiful old town, I recommend you visit the biblioteca Malatesta and the theatre "Teatro Verdi".

5-  Eat the "Piadina Romagnola". Italian flatbread, It is usually made with white flour, lard or olive oil, salt and water. And drink "Sangiovese" red wine from local farms.

6- If you come from north, to go at Pennabilli you have to cross Santarcangelo Di Romagna. Stop there and go to visit the MUTOID WASTE COMPANY, London performance arts group relocated in Italy.

Tips and Tricks:I recommend you that get to Pennabilli by car or with your transports or you can try Bla Bla Car, the bike is for true lovers...

The public transport unfortunately don't give you a big help but to visit Cesena, Rimini and San Marino, with a patience then you can entrust to public transportation.
